The x-frame base that unites all the pieces in this family is based on a gilded metal antique French bench. I'm always enamored with the delicacy of French decorative modern pieces, though here, I created new profiles and scaled up the proportions to make the shape heftier and gutsier. The side table comes in a variety of finish options for the tabletop.
